If you like problem-solving then the recently updated Bridge Master 2000 is an excellent way to improve your bridge. Canadian guru Fred Gitelman has created nearly 200 declarer play hands, graded in difficulty for your amusement (and torment). Whilst those in Level Five make even the most experienced bridge player stop and then (me…), Level One and Two are interesting and instructive for all non-beginners. But lest you think that, as a beginner, this software is not for you, and excellent section on starting bridge is included and many have bought the program for this feature alone. It specialises in card-play (which is just as well as the bidding is American style) and Fred expresses himself very clearly at all times. The graphics throughout are as clear as you will find on any software and I would unhesitatingly recommend the package to anyone who wants hours of captivation.
